Hi-Ad wins "MANDALORE RAIN" contest on The Force Cast - May 2010
Jimmy Mac and The Force Cast podcast issued a challenge to create a heartfelt musical satire (a la Weird Al), about the forbidden love of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satine, the Duchess of
Mandalore, as portrayed in The Clone Wars animated series. They asked that the song be set to the tune of Bruce Hornsby's "Mandolin Rain." Glen played and recorded killer piano
and lead vocal tracks at AMS Studio in East Hartford, CT (from lyrics he co-wrote with Spencer Klinell). Todd added synth bass, drums, and put together the final mix in his
home studio in Williamstown, MA. Christopher created the package artwork and type using an original painting by Jedi Shua.
We Won!! "Thanks for the votes everyone!" Hi-Ad answered The Force Cast's call to create "Mandalore Rain" and cleaned up!
